Indian Creek Campground

Ohhhh Oregon! I owe you a huge apology! I underestimated you. I will never disrespect you like that again. If you have never been to Oregon before and think for a second there is nothing to do there…you are SO wrong. Oregon is just the most beautiful place. Dare I say, more beautiful than California. I feel that way because of the people we interacted with while being in Oregon. The people make this attractive state even more appealing! Everyone here from the grocery stores to gas stations were just superbly nice!!

Our first stop was to Gold Beach, Oregon. As we drove towards the campgrounds we were greeted by this little guy. I knew after seeing him it was like a welcome sign.

We drove straight to Indian Creek Campground. I fell in love with it from the get go. Indian Creek has a well stocked store inside. It had a little bit of everything plus a kind woman to help you. The most convenient part about the campground is the close Indian Creek Cafe. You don’t have to go far for a nice meal. The entrance into the campgrounds is a sweet sight to see. Luscious trees and plenty of room for the bigger rigs.

Nice restrooms are a must for me so I needed to rush and see how it was. The restrooms were clean and well kept as you can see.

I didn’t have to use the laundry facilities too much. It was nice to know there is a nice place to go and take care of your clothes.

The campsite that we reserved was a bit smaller but so was the price. Which that is a plus in my book! Even though it was a smaller campsite, we had enough space to cook out on. At the end of the day, it’s not about the size of the campsite, it’s about the memories you make with your loved ones on the road.
