Most of the time you get stuck choosing a campground with hookups or parking in a parking lot for the night. Well, my friends I have come to tell you that there is a badass campground right in downtown Little Rock! We are making our way out west but planned to meet up with another van life family. They treated us to a night at The Downtown Riverside RV Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. We were within walking distance from all of the cool downtown restaurants, activities and nightlife. The grounds were gate protected at night and had bathhouses and full hookups. This campground was a goldmine to those looking for a little city action for their overnight stay.
Little Rock was never on our” must-see” city list but we were pleasantly surprised by how cool this city was. Exploring the urban environment with a safe and practical location to park is HUGE. The views from the campground were spectacular.
The sunset and lights from the Arkansas River bridge crossings at night was a real sight from the mighty riverbanks at the campground.
